Visa genset for backup power in Aosta Airport

Thanks to its solid experience gained in over 60 years of operation, Visa SpA offers tailored solutions for various sectors of activity. Specifically, Visa has recently completed the supply of a generating set designed for backup with the mains for the Airport Corrado Gex in Aosta, to ensure operational and safety services. The company is not new to supplying the airport and port sectors, with several machines already installed both in Italy and abroad (for example the Marco Polo Airport in Venice ) ensuring a continuous and reliable power supply.

Purpose
The project includes a reliable emergency power supply system connected to the grid to ensure the continuous operation of the facility in case of power outages.
Technical features
The gen set is equipped with the BAUDOUIN engine model 6M21G550/5 completed with engine preheater and coupled with the Stamford alternator model HCI 5D. Automatic control panel model Guard Revolution 4.0, with Ethernet card for remote connection.
Open version with integrated fuel tank in the baseframe.
Refueling system
The machine is supplied with an onboard 900 liter fuel tank, complete with base tray and oil collection basin, complete with electric diesel level float and automatic fuel system. The machine is also provided with the Fuel Tutor device.
Fuel Tutor Kit
It is a combined kit for diesel refueling. Inside the metal box, that can be locked with a key, there is an electric pump, a solenoid valve, a manual pump and the by-pass ball valves if a fault should occur. The kit can be easily mounted on the floor or on the wall, either indoors or outdoors. Its operation is managed by the control panel.
Housing of the machine
The generating set has been designed to be housed in a dedicated room, equipped with all the appropriate features to ensure its optimal operation.
